Our business has grown to accommodate all plan types such as: residential, commercial, remodels, additions, decks, porches, garages, and shops as well as other projects. Cooper Takeoffs not only provides highly accurate estimates of needed materials, we also categorize lists into the distinctive construction steps (e.g., basement, framing, roofing, etc.) that aids in the order of building processes.
With a combined effort of 100 years of experience, no plan is too complicated or too simple. We pride ourselves in providing customers with precise, reliable materials lists. Our lead time is within 5 business days on residential plans. Rush options are also available. Using our services can provide you with substantial savings over using the traditional takeoff employee: no payroll taxes, no sick or vacation days, no Workers Comp, and no insurance worries.
It would be our pleasure to work with you in providing materials lists that are catered to your company’s specific needs. We’re so confident you’ll be pleased with our services that we’ll prove it with a complimentary materials estimate! We look forward to doing business with you and exceeding your expectations!
Over 25 years ago as an up-and-coming general contractor in the industry, I was unaware of the material takeoff services that most lumber companies provide. It wasn’t until ten years of calculating my own material estimates that I discovered that this service was available. Unfortunately, I found that the materials lists provided by the lumber companies were not all that I hoped they would be. The lists were not nearly as accurate as the ones that I had polished after a decade of experience. I found that when I used the lists provided by the lumber companies I was not supplied with the proper amount of materials on the job site, either sending for additional supplies or returning a surplus. This beneficial service, which initially seemed like a godsend, became a source of frustration not only to my employees and me, but to my clients as well.
I continued to use my own estimates, and eventually lumber companies began to take notice. They would comment on my accuracy and the considerable amount of detail that my lists provided. Ultimately, I impressed enough people that I was then contracted to provide takeoffs for lumber companies and Cooper Takeoffs was born.
